Happiest Monday loves!
I am sharing one of my favorite outfits from my recent trip to Napa, and am hoping you will love it just as much as everyone there did!
This look has an obvious star of the show, and that is the amazing ruffled leaf print maxi. I generally stray away from maxi skirts because they make my specific body type look either too thick or too frumpy, but I was pleasantly surprised when this arrived in the mail from Shein! It actually has such a nice fit due to the tighter waistband around your midsection.
For Napa and for Denver, I wanted to have the option to layer in case it started to get chillier at night, so I opted for a faux leather jacket and a bodysuit. Now, I know most of you probably own a few bodysuits by now, but if you don’t, GO GRAB SOME. I can not even tell you how many times this piece has saved an outfit! Over are the days of tucking in your shirt and having to smooth out wrinkles. This completely elminates that (and a pantyline), giving you a nice and seamless look.
Here are a few of my favorites staple styles:
Sleeveless (as shown above)
If you prefer a less edgy look, I would recommend pairing a chunky sweater with this skirt! For a dressier vibe, throw on a nice pair of strappy heels and a solid colored crop top!
Of course, I am totally thinking that this would be a great Thanksgiving dinner option, depending on what type of dinner you are attending. Truthfully, I will probably stick to the comfiest clothes I own since my dinner this year will be super small and intimate!
Anyways, I hope you have had an amazing start to your week, and end the night feeling happy and accomplished. If you are in the Denver area, and feel like making a last minute plan, one of the bands from my Napa trip will be in town!
Magic Giant is playing a FREE concert at the Aloft Downtown hotel starting at 7! One of the singers was in my high school boyfriends fraternity, so it is nice to support a former locals’ success! They put on a great show, so if you are available, you do not want to miss it!
